Key Responsibilities
Report to the Front Desk/Administrative Assistant upon arrival.
Adhere to classroom routines, ensuring a well-structured learning atmosphere.
Implement lesson plans and curriculum provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Supervise student behavior during class and other related activities.
Maintain accurate records of student progress and classroom activities.
Follow school policies and procedures consistent with those upheld by regular teachers.
Manage a remote classroom setting for students as required.
Communicate effectively with the regular teacher and school administration.
Perform additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills
Familiarity with Teacher Support Technology (e.g., Google Classroom, Zoom, Infinite Campus).
Strong classroom management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with students and staff.
Adaptability to varying teaching environments and learning styles.
Qualifications
Experience in an educational setting is preferred.
A Bachelor’s degree in Education or a related field is desirable.
Teaching Credential or Certification in Education is preferred.
Previous teaching or substitute teaching experience is a plus.
Familiarity with language immersion settings is advantageous.
