About Shooting Stars Foundation:
Shooting Stars Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to empowering underprivileged students through education, skill-building, and scholarships. Our Salesforce system plays a central role in tracking scholars, processing applications, managing disbursements, and ensuring compliance. You will be transforming lives of students financially and will get a huge satisfaction out of it
Position: Web Application Developer – Java / SQL / Azure
Contract Duration: 3 to 4 months (extendable based on performance and project scope)
Location: Remote (India-based preferred for timezone overlap)
Compensation: INR
Ability to work: - 7 PM to 10 PM IST (with flexibility to overlap with US team)
Experience: 5+ years experience in the field
Remuneration : Rs. 40,000 - 45,000 per month (for full time – 40 hours a week) – If less hours, then it will be calculated accordingly (Rs. 40,000 - 45,000 INR per month for full time)
An experienced Website Developer on a contract basis to build our hackathon platform. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can take ownership of tech deployment from design to launch — we’d love to hear from you.
Technical Requirements:
Grails Framework Azure Web Deployment experience Strong Frontend/UI design skills – ability to design clean, modern, and professional web pages Proficient in Java Knowledge of web security best practices Database management experience (MySQL/PostgreSQL/SQL Server)
Role Expectations:
Build and deploy secure, scalable web applications Develop intuitive and responsive UI/UX Integrate backend systems and ensure seamless database connectivity Maintain documentation and ensure code quality Collaborate with internal stakeholders for requirements and feedback
