Job Description
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be responsible for caring for chronic renal patients and carrying out their renal replacement therapy in a dialysis unit setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide high-quality patient care, ensuring the comfort and well-being of patients undergoing renal replacement therapy.
Insertion of dialysis needles, working with permanent lines, and setting up dialysis machines require excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail.
Work collaboratively as part of a team, utilizing effective communication and interpersonal skills to ensure seamless care delivery.
Stay up-to-date with continuing professional development through education programs developed by the renal practice development nurse.
Requirements:
A registered General Nurse with experience in renal units, preferably in Ayrshire and Arran.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team.
Good manual dexterity essential for inserting dialysis needles and working with permanent lines.
Driving Licence/Car Ownership: Car licence/Car ownership is essential for this role.
Estimated Salary: £30,000 - £45,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
