Position: RENDERER/SOLID PLASTERER
Name of the Business: Ashbridge Construction PTY LTD
Salary: $78,000 - $88,000 p/year plus superannuation
Type: Permanent Full Time
Ashbridge Construction Pty Ltd is a Western Australian based construction company working mainly in large and civil field.
The company is now seeking a full-time renderer/solid plasterer who has at least:
Relevant Australian Certificate or equivalent and a minimum of 12 months of full-time experience; or
3 years of full-time experience in lieu of the relevant qualification
Position Summary
The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying protective and decorative render finishes to building surfaces, ensuring durability, structural integrity, and a high-quality visual outcome across both interior and exterior areas.
Key Responsibility:
Preparing surfaces prior to rendering by cleaning, repairing defects, and ensuring appropriate base conditions for material adhesion
Measuring work areas and estimate material needed based on job specifications
Mixing render material, including plaster, cement-based and other finishing materials, to achieve the required consistency
Applying render coats to walls and structures using hand tools, ensuring even coverage and correct thickness
Levelling and smoothing surfaces to achieve a uniform finish in line with project standards
Forming and finishing corners, edges, and angles to ensure straightness and alignment
Installing and securing beads, trims, and reinforcement materials to support the finish and prevent cracking
Creating various surface textures and finishes depending on design and client requirements
Inspecting completed surfaces and carrying out adjustments or refinishing where required
Maintaining tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and safe condition
Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times
