Job Description
The Rendering Operator plays a key part in ensuring that the department is operating effectively. You will work alongside a partner running the processing plant ensuring production keep place with rest of the plant. You will also work with the Rendering Plant Supervisor to ensure any maintenance of the area is carried out in a timely and cost-effective manner alongside implementing new systems when appropriate. Training will be provided on operation of the Rendering Plant Operation.
Weekend/shift work will be required for this permanent position.
Work Experiences:
The successful applicant will demonstrate the following:
Experience in operating plants is preferable. Experience in food manufacturing or engineering would also be considered.
Organisational skills and the capability to cope with a variety of priorities and demands.
Communicate effectively and work well within a team
A good standard of computer literacy and administrative experience would be advantage.
A strong commitment to Health and Safety
Mechanical knowledge would be advantage.
