Job Description
We currently have an opportunity for enthusiastic, mechanically minded person to join our rendering team based at our Rangiuru plant near Te Puke, Bay of Plenty. No experience necessary as all training will be provided.
This position is responsible for ensuring that the plant assets are managed and maintained in a way that enhances the company’s short and long term objectives.
You will also be able to demonstrate the following key requirements for the role:
Work amongst the existing well-skilled Team.
Be able to a work rotating shift structure and be available for callouts.
Strong organisational skills which complement the need to manage a variety of priorities and standards.
A basic understanding of PLC operated equipment would be an advantage.
Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment by helping to ensure that plant and equipment is kept clean and hygienic
Communicating any downtime and exceptions to the Rendering Supervisor
Passing on any cost saving ideas and recommendations for plant operations to the Rendering Supervisor.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Personal Requirements:
Physically active
Results driven with strong motivation
A high level of integrity and trustworthiness
Preference will be given to those with experience in food manufacturing or engineering environments.
