Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Rental Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting customers with rental inquiries, demonstrating products, and ensuring an exceptional shopping experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, sales ability, and a passion for providing outstanding customer service. Bilingual abilities and prior retail or grocery store experience are a plus. This position offers an opportunity to develop sales expertise in a fast-paced retail environment while helping customers find the perfect rental solutions.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them with rental inquiries in a professional manner
Conduct product demonstrations and explain rental options clearly to customers
Operate POS systems efficiently for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell rental products and accessories to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, organizing displays, and ensuring product availability
Perform cashier duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations
Provide excellent phone etiquette when handling inquiries or reservations over the phone
Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment as needed
Support supervising staff in training new team members and maintaining store standards
Ensure customer satisfaction through attentive service and effective communication skills
Qualifications
Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or grocery store environments preferred
Familiarity with POS systems and retail math calculations required
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and customer service expertise
Ability to upsell products effectively and conduct engaging product demos
Bilingual skills are a plus to serve diverse customer needs
Supervising experience is desirable but not mandatory; leadership qualities are valued
Basic math skills necessary for transactions and inventory management
Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment with excellent merchandising skills
Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a commitment to providing outstanding customer service
Pay: From $15.00 per hour
