Job Description:
As a Repack Production Human Resources Assistant at Mucci Farms. You'll be responsible for internal customer service. Collaborating with the Production Management Team and providing assistance with scheduling and projects. The successful candidate will have a positive attitude, customer service focused, the ability to adhere to all human resources, operational and food and health safety policies and procedures.
Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
Administrative duties including maintaining files and filing
Enter employment and employee data into ADP
Draft, file and document all performance related documentation (i.e. communication forms and other write-ups)
Organize and approve all employee requests regarding time off, vacations, appointments, sick calls, and leaves
Serve as an employee advocate for new hires as well as established employees
Track and update all production employees’ attendance daily via email
Utilize ADP system for employee scheduling, input attendance codes, track attendance by uploading reports and approve all production employee timecards
Walking the warehouse floor daily to answer any questions/concerns employees may have
Assisting employees with issues logging into ADP and any other concerns
Setting up appointments and arranging meetings for employees to speak with HR
Assist HR with handling employee complaints
Qualifications & Requirements:
Completion of post-secondary education is required
Proven ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Must have strong administrative and organizational skills
Must have intermediate to advance working knowledge with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint
Ability to communicate in a clear and concise manner in both English and Spanish (written, oral and spoken) is required
Understanding of Human Resources and Health and Safety needs
Strong understanding of production needs
Ability to lead by example, coach, train, and motivate employees to meet goals
Communicate any issues or concerns to the Production Supervisor or Manager
Physical Abilities:
Must be able to sit, stand, and/or walk for extended periods of time
Must be able to bend, stretch, twist, or reach with body, arms, and/or legs
Must be able to lift material regularly up to 14 kg / 30 lbs; and occasionally up to 23 kg / 50lbs
Must be able to climb stairs and stand on feet for an extended period of time
Must be able to work in a temperature-controlled environment of approximately 13 ˚C / 55 ˚F
