Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoots, calibrates, and repairs instruments and/or systems returned to the factory for service and/or repair.
Analyzes, troubleshoots, makes repairs, resolves technical problems, and performs maintenance services on equipment or components returned by customers.
Conveys data and trends on product repairs to relevant departments to ensure customer satisfaction.
Escalates unusual product issues to technical support or other appropriate departments.
Key qualifications include an Associate's degree or Bachelor's degree with a focus on Electrical Engineering or Electronics Engineering. Strong soldering skills are essential, along with the ability to troubleshoot to component level on printed circuit assemblies. Proficiency with oscilloscopes and digital multimeters is also required. Computer programming experience (C or C+/C++) is a plus.
