Job Title-Repair Development Engineer
Location-Bangalore
Experience-8 years to 12 years
Technical/Functional Skills
Good understanding of the construction and working of aircraft engines, various parts of the engine and their functions.
Good knowledge of the various types of repair processes involved in the restoration of variety of damages commonly observed on Aero engine components
Knowledge on how to sequence various operations during different repair processes
Ability to interpret the technical data contained in the various manuals involved in the MRO process of Aeroengines
Ability to read drawings and interpret drawings of complex engine parts
Ability to produce clear graphics using various software to provide the necessary and sufficient information, including understanding GD&T
Experience in substantiation of repairs depending on the various factors to meet regulatory requirements
Aware of airworthiness regulatory and flight safety requirements
Knowledge of the various alloys and materials used in the manufacture of different engine hardware
Good oral and written communication and language (English) skills
Willingness to work in flexible schedules depending on the need to interact with customers in different time zones
Good to have skills
2-5 years in a commercial/military aircraft engine MRO shop or in a company that does repair development engineering work on aircraft engine parts would be added advantage
GD&T
Experience Required BE or BTech in Mechanical / Aeronautical Engineer with 8 10 Years of experience in Aero Engine Repair Engineering
