Senior Editor (Digital Media) Hindi
We are looking for a creative and passionate Senior Editor (Digital Media) with 10yrs experience in Hindi Digital Media (News) to research, plan, develop and implement our web content. As a Senior Editor your main goal will be to produce creative web content that attracts an audience.
Digital Editor Duties and Responsibilities
· Create, produce and manage high-quality content
· Build relationship with clients and establish collaboration with other team members
· Supervise layout of images, graphics, videos and other artwork
· Regularly check and track content
· Proofread and edit material
· Work in a multidisciplinary team with professionals such as web designers, marketing executives and photographers to improve content strategy
· Adhere to SEO rules
· Use Social Media for better presence
· Adhere to copyright and privacy standards and company policies
· Determine and track important KPIs
· Track and analyse website’s traffic
· Produce and present reports
· Keep abreast with new trends in web technology
Areas of Responsibility
Editing, making infographics, drawing layouts and making pages for the newspaper
· Liaise with reporters for graphic matter and stories and with photographers for photos in order to ensure that no important stories are missed and readers get correct picture of an event.
· Make pages, give correct and catchy headlines, give smart taglines adages and provide informative captions and make attractive and informative graphics and edit and rewrite stories in order to produce error-free, informative and attractive pages.
· Make pages, draw dummies for the assigned edition, decide on stories and pictures to be taken in order to produce a visually pleasing page.
· Scan the agencies and make a list of relevant stories which are not being covered by reporters in order to maintain the paper s edge over competitors and ensure that no story is missed.
Educational Qualifications Required
· MA in journalism, communications or similar relevant field
