Duties and Responsibilities of the Class Teacher :
To be present in the everyday assembly.
He/she must be responsible for the student’s performance in the assembly.
Every day students’ tidiness must be checked by the class teacher.
His/her class must take part in everyday assembly’s activities.
To take everyday attendance.
Students’ attendance register must be filled properly and submitted to the Principal’s office every day.
An application must be asked by the class teacher if students were absent.
Unnecessary absent of the students should not be tolerated by the class teacher.
If any student is not regular it must be informed to the principal.
80% attendance is must to appear in the examination.
Class teacher must motivate to the students to attain every day class.
Create a learning environment for the students by decorating the board with noble work of great personalities to inspire the students.
To provide or display the time table of the class.
To check their bag and belongings once in a week. Students must be guided properly to maintain their book/copy/ diary etc. by the class teacher.
To appoint monitors in the class and their duties and responsibilities must be explained by the class teacher. Monitors’ work should be supervised by the class teacher.
A class teacher is a second parent to all students.
He/she provides teaching and efficient learning and motivates the students.
He/she ensures their student’s confidence and increase their self-esteem.
He/she prepares students with skills, character, and necessary knowledge to live in society.
He/she monitor the class and review their student’s progress.
An ideal class teacher remains impartial and has no favourite student in the class.
He/she conducts the core curriculum and various activities in class.
He/she implements multiple fun-learning techniques to make the subjects enjoyable.
A class teacher guides their students during any competition or school event.
A class teacher is a person who guides the younger minds on the right path.
He/she plans their daily lessons and addresses the diverse needs of the classroom.
A class teacher motivates, communicates, interacts, solves problems with the peer, and focus on individual progress.
He/she implements methodologies and teaching approaches that facilitate easy and quick learning for students.
He/she conducts collaborative problem-solving activities and nurtures every student’s growth.
A class teacher is responsible for the classroom’s social behaviour.
He/she imparts knowledge and understanding of the curriculum in multiple ways, such as hands- on learning activities, lectures, and small group activities.
A class teacher mentors their students and imparts a sense of ownership in the classroom, which builds confidence among the students.
An essential role of a class teacher is the role of a protector, where he/she sense the signs of trouble in their students.
To be present on PTM ( Parent and Teacher’s Meeting ), and each student’s performance in all the area must be explained by the class teacher and it should be discussed with the parents for betterment of the students.
To prepare students report time to time.
To prepare cross list, mark sheet, etc.
