Engineer, Software Architect/Responsible
Mercedes-Benz Research and Development, India is seeking Software Responsible with a strong technical background in AUTOSAR and Model Based Engineering.
Key Job Responsibilities:
• Responsible for application software architecture and coordination with the supplier.
• Responsible for model based application software development.
• Responsible for software requirement analysis.
Basic Qualification:
Bachelors or Master s Degree in Computer Science/Electrical & Electronics/ Masters in Computer Applications
• 4 to 8 years of experience in automotive Model Based development activities including model development, debugging skills and auto-code generation using Matlab, Simulink, Stateflow and TargetLink.
• Good knowledge about ECU software design concepts and principles.
• Good understanding of AUTOSAR architecture and the AUTOSAR based model development.
• Good knowledge on AUTOSAR application and Basic Software modules.
• Good knowledge on MAAB guidelines and experience in tools like MXAM (Model Quality) and MXRAY(Model Metrics).
• Basic knowledge about MISRA C guidelines, AutomotiveSPICE framework and Functional Safety.
• Familiarity with static code analysis tools (like Polyspace).
• Good understanding of Body electronics software components.
• Good exposure to configuration management tools like PVCS, SVN, GIT.
• Good exposure to Requirements management tools like DOORS, PREEvision.
• Must have good understanding of Model-in-loop, Software-in-loop simulation. In addition, Processor-in-loop will be preferred.
• Good experience with Vector tools (CANoe, CANape, Candela Studio, ODX Studio and Davinci etc.) and compilers tools usage.
• Experience in C/C++ programming, Matlab scripting, Python scripting.
• Good understanding of OBD, UDS and XCP protocols.
• Familiarity with ECU safety and security concepts.
• Good knowledge about different automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc).
• Experience with GSEP Confluence, Jira would be appreciated.
Desired Skills and Experience
Preferred Qualification:
Good communication skills and ability to work in & contribute as a good team player
Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage.
Basic knowledge on German language preferred.
