Job Description for Oracle DBA:
• Comprehensive background with physical DBA support in complex environments • Core Database troubleshooting and monitoring database • Installation of the database software on UNIX/Windows/Linux platforms • RMAN backup and recovery of the Oracle Database, Logical backup • Performance tuning • Migration or Upgradation of databases • Hands on experience on configuring and maintaining Data guard • Hands on experience on switchover and switchback • Oracle Failsafe installation and maintenance • RAC configuration and maintenance • Experience in OEM(Oracle Enterprise Manager) • Oracle Streams is a plus • Implement IT security , Database hardening • Automation of database activities with writing shell scripts • Knowledge of the MSSQL added advantage • Knowledge of the Data Movement utilities and Exadata added advantage Skills : Strong verbal and written communication skills Must demonstrate ability to work under high pressure in a complex multithreaded environment Demonstrated capability to learn, rapidly utilizing good problem solving skills Desire to learn and document new tools Ability to work both independently and in a team environment Interested candidates can reply with updated CV at [Confidential Information] Regards, Shraddha SK International
