About the Team
The Research Excellence and Support Hub (RES Hub) provides a central point for the UTS research community to come together – offering digital and physical facilities for training, collaboration, consultation, events and engagement. About the Role We are currently seeking a RES Hub Manager to join the team on a fixed term basis until December 2026. As the Manager, you will provide day-to-day operational management and continuous improvement to ensure RES Hub delivers value to our research community. This is a highly important role, where you will continue to develop RES Hub in providing highly valued tools, content and services that support excellent research practices, projects and collaborations for the UTS research community – academics, professional staff and graduate research students. With examples, please outline in a separate document how you meet the following six key selection criteria points: 1. Strong strategic planning and evaluation skills.2. Advanced writing and editing ability and experience translating complex information for non specialist audiences.3. Strong event management and logistical coordination skills.4. Time-management skills, including the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.5. High-level organisational and relationship management skills including excellent networking skills.6. Understanding of project and communication measurement and evaluation.
Remuneration
Base Salary Range: $119,041 to $135,575 pa (HEW 8) This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary. UTS staff also benefit from a wide range of Employee Benefits include flexible work practices, child care centres, generous parental leave and salary packaging opportunities. This position is full-time and appointment will be made on a fixed term basis until December 2026. The team operates on a hybrid working arrangement, with 3-4 days in the office depending on events.
