We are looking to add a Research Associate to our core team based in Jaipur, India. You will display your ability to synthesize data and draw insights in the context of the ‘research ask’, accurately.
This is one of the most important roles at Student Circus, as you will be responsible for employer connections/relationships, and growing our understanding of trends in the recruitment industry.
We work with Universities in the UK & Europe and provide a job search platform with handpicked opportunities for International Students. Student Circus helps universities & education leaders prepare for opportunities, empowering them to act with confidence when making strategic decisions.

Your Main Responsibilities Include:
• Ensuring a steady stream of high-quality research outputs and combining (distinguishing/drawing conclusions from) the results to solve the issues.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of global and UK-wide recruitment trends and best practices. Conduct research (data-driven primary & secondary research) to learn about hiring practices and employer demands.
• Connecting with employers and recruiters to understand the trends in the industries they operate in.
• Opportunistically contribute to publications and market analysis reports created by Student Circus in association with partner universities.
• Share and collaborate effectively with others. Working in a start-up means getting an idea of all the moving parts of a company.
• You will play an active role in team discussions on trends & product development strategies based on the research conducted.
You Bring (Experience & Qualifications)
• You have 1-3 years of relevant working experience, preferably in the business-to-business (B2B) sector, tech industry, and/or a related field
• A degree (Bachelors/Masters) in Business Studies, Management, HR, or similar relevant field (Study abroad experience would be rated highly) is compulsory.
• Ability to work with wide array of platforms including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; to be able to provide insights in most user-friendly format.
• Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, presentation, and written communication skills
• Practical, intuitive problem solving and the ability to translate analysis into actionable insights.
