About the Role
We are seeking a qualified Laboratory Technician to support both Quality Control (QC) and Research & Development (R&D) functions in a manufacturing environment. This is a permanent, full-time position requiring a combination of technical analysis, laboratory testing, and cross-functional coordination. The successful candidate will contribute to maintaining product quality standards and supporting ongoing product and process development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform chemical and physical testing on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products
Analyze, interpret, and document test results in accordance with established specifications and procedures
Identify quality deviations and support root cause investigations
Assist in R&D trials, experiments, and product development activities
Assist in developing and validating laboratory testing methods
Maintain accurate laboratory records, reports, and technical documentation
Operate, calibrate, and troubleshoot laboratory equipment
Manage sample tracking, handling, and storage systems
Collaborate with production and quality assurance teams to ensure compliance with specifications
Support supplier quality evaluation and material verification
Ensure adherence to quality assurance and safety standards
Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
Minimum 1–3 years of relevant laboratory experience in QC, analytical testing, or R&D support
Experience analyzing technical data and preparing reports
Experience operating and maintaining laboratory equipment and instruments
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team

This role operates in both laboratory and manufacturing settings within a fast-paced entrepreneurial environment. The position requires adaptability, attention to detail, and effective communication with internal teams.
