Join a passionate and innovative scientific team driving the future of therapeutic antibody discovery. As a Research Assistant, you’ll play a key role in early-stage drug development—supporting target validation, mechanism-of-action studies, and pharmacological testing. This is a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate with hands-on lab experience to grow your expertise in a dynamic, collaborative R&D environment.
How you’ll spend your day
Perform cutting-edge cell biology techniques, including functional assay development using reporter cell lines and primary cells
Maintain and culture mammalian cell lines, establish cell banks, and prepare assay-ready cells
Execute phenotypic and functional cell analyses (flow cytometry, phosphorylation assays, calcium flux)
Apply molecular and protein biology methods (DNA handling, protein expression, purification)
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to achieve project milestones
Manage lab resources and maintain accurate electronic lab notebooks
Present experimental data to senior scientists and management
Support general lab operations and foster a positive team culture
Ensure compliance with health, safety, PC2, gene technology, and company policies
Your experience and qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with honours in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, or related field
2+ years of laboratory experience
Skilled in mammalian cell culture and familiar with cell-based assays (flow cytometry, ELISA, functional assays)
Understanding of pharmacology principles, dose-response analysis, and basic statistics
Knowledge of molecular and protein biology techniques is a plus
Experience in immunology, cell biology, or pharmacology is highly regarded
Prior industry-based R&D experience is a bonus
