Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated Research Assistant to join our team for a contract-based position of 6 months to 1 year. The Research Assistant will be primarily responsible for testing the accuracy of a pregnancy monitoring device in a hospital setting. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work independently. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability and effectiveness of the monitoring device, contributing to advancements in maternal healthcare.

Responsibilities:

- Conduct testing of the pregnancy monitoring device in a hospital setting according to established protocols and procedures.

- Collect and analyze data generated by the monitoring device to assess its accuracy and performance.

- Collaborate with healthcare professionals and research team members to coordinate testing activities and troubleshoot any issues that arise.

- Maintain accurate records of testing procedures, observations, and results.

- Provide regular updates on testing progress and findings to the research team.

- Adhere to ethical guidelines and regulations governing research involving human subjects.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as biomedical engineering, or nursing, or a related discipline.

- Prior experience in clinical research, medical device testing, or a similar role is preferred.

- Knowledge of pregnancy monitoring devices and obstetric care is an asset.

- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.

- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, in Kannada and English

- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.

- Familiarity with research ethics and regulatory requirements.
