Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
1. Research Support:
o Assist professors in designing research studies, formulating hypotheses, and developing research frameworks.
o Conduct literature reviews and summarize key findings for academic papers.
2. Data Analysis:
o Perform quantitative and qualitative data analysis using statistical software (e.g., SPSS, R, Python, Excel).
o Clean, manage, and interpret large datasets for research purposes.
o Apply appropriate statistical techniques (regression, ANOVA, factor analysis, etc.) to support research findings.
3. Research Paper Writing:
o Help in drafting, editing, and formatting research papers, reports, and case studies.
o Prepare tables, graphs, and visualizations to present data effectively.
o Ensure adherence to academic writing standards and citation styles (APA, MLA, Harvard, etc.).
4. Tool & Software Proficiency:
o Utilize research tools like Qualtrics, NVivo, or other survey/data collection platforms.
o Stay updated with the latest statistical and research methodologies.
5. Collaboration & Coordination:
o Work with faculty members, PhD scholars, and other researchers on joint projects.
o Attend research meetings and contribute to academic discussions.
Qualifications & Skills:
Educational Background:
o Master’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Analytics, MBA (with research focus), or related fields.
o Candidates pursuing PhD will be preferred.
Technical Skills:
o Strong knowledge of statistical concepts and research methodologies.
o Proficiency in statistical software (SPSS, R, Python, Excel).
o Familiarity with academic databases (Scopus, Web of Science, JSTOR).
Soft Skills:
o Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
o Attention to detail and ability to work independently.
o Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Experience:
Prior experience in academic research, data analysis, or assisting in research paper publication is preferred.
Freshers with strong statistical knowledge may also be considered.
