The Department of Chemical Sciences, IISER Kolkata, invites applications from Indian citizens for a temporary Research Staff position in a Naval Research Board (DRDO)-funded project. The position is initially for 1 year and is extendable based on project needs and candidate performance. • Essential: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Physics, or Biology
• Desirable: Prior experience in polymer characterization, especially using Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC)
???? Job Description:
• Participate in a DRDO-sponsored project aimed at developing innovative polymers with broad glass transition temperature (Tg) regions
• Conduct polymer synthesis and characterization, particularly focusing on vibration damping properties
• Candidates with hands-on DSC experience will be given preference
• Work under the supervision of Prof. Priyadarsi De in the Polymer Research Center
???? Salary:
Rs. 20,000/- per month (Consolidated)
