The Position
The position will carry out experimental work related to understanding how mutations in IRF4 and other transcription factors cause primary immunodeficiencies and cancer. The Technical Officer position will be a member of the Enders Laboratory within the Division of Immunology and Infectious Disease, JCSMR.
The Person
The Research Technician reports to A/Prof Anselm Enders at the John Curtin School of Medical Research, Division of Immunology and Infectious Disease, and will work under his general direction and that of lab member/s. They are required to work closely with staff and students within the group, and hence the role may also provide support, advice and training to staff and students.

This is achieved through discovery research, applied research in health service settings, research-led teaching in health and medical sciences, and the translation of research findings into practice and policy. The John Curtin School of Medical Research (JCSMR) is a leading centre of medical research in Australia with research addressing fundamental biomedical problems of significance to human disease.

The ANU College of Science and Medicine encompasses the following disciplines: Astronomy and Astrophysics, Biology, Chemistry, Earth Sciences, Physics, Medicine and Psychology, and Medical Research.
