AG Hotels Group is seeking an experienced and ambitious reservations sales specialist to be a part of our central team based in New Delhi. The candidate will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of the hotel's reservation system and revenue management strategies along with upselling of our facilities.
Reports to: Head of Central Operations
Major Responsibilities
• To deal efficiently and politely with all telephone and email enquiries.
• To ensure that all reservations are recorded following established procedures with full and clear information and that they are inputted accurately and promptly onto the property management system.
• To maximize revenue by converting enquiries, recognizing business prospects and opportunities to upsell other areas of the hotel or other properties in the group.
• Develop and implement pricing strategies to optimize revenue and occupancy levels
• To be commercially aware and keeping up to date with all promotions and special offers across the business.
• Ensure effective communication and coordination with various departments, including reservations, front office, sales, and finance, to optimize revenue and guest satisfaction
• Managing complaints efficiently and escalating to the right department
Prerequisites
• Prior experience of rooms reservations will be preferred
• Being able to think outside the box
• Excellent communication both verbal and written.
• Experience in the following systems desirable – PMS and other booking software, Excel, Microsoft
• Must be open to work on weekends and night shifts
