The Hotel Britomart
Smart, soulful and contemporary, The Hotel Britomart welcomes guests to the best of downtown waterfront Auckland. New Zealand’s first 5 Green Star hotel has 104 beautiful timber-lined, cocoon-like rooms and luxurious suites with New Zealand art, custom features and bespoke amenities. Downstairs, in the beautiful surrounds of the heritage buildings is kingi, a restaurant that also celebrates sustainability and provides exceptional cuisine and hospitality for the public and guests of The Hotel Britomart.
We are seeking a capable and experienced professional to join The Hotel Britomart in the position of a Reservations Supervisor. You will thrive on immersing yourself in the brand and hotel operation and be proud to be part of The Hotel Britomart team. The role reports to the Revenue Manager.
To be successful in this role you will have:
Previous hospitality experience with experience with hotel reservations system knowledge: Protel (advanced), Sertify, ProtelCLoudCenter, Windcave, EzRMS, NowBookIt, STR, Lighthouse, TravelClick, etc.
Assist in yield management techniques to maximise occupancy, average rate and room revenue.
Monitor group holdings to ensure room blocks are accurate and release periods are correctly tracked to prevent unexpected wash of rooms.
Manage an effective ‘Groups’ procedure, ensuring all groups are correctly processed and deposit due by dates monitored, as well as advising all relevant departments of advance group activity.
Excellent telephone manners
Available on weekends and after hours - roster varies from 8 am to 7 pm
Multilingual advantageous
Valid New Zealand working rights are essential.
