Job Role Summary
We are looking to hire engineers to conduct reservoir surveillance with an emphasis on data management and analysis to support oil and gas properties across ExxonMobil’s global portfolio.
Job Responsibilities:
• Monitor real-time data and provide insights and recommendations based on analysis
• Analyze well and field data to establish trends, recognize deviations, and identify data quality issues
• Generate plots and reports to communicate field performance
• Identify new opportunities for improved production
• Collaborate with engineers and operations personnel on global asset teams
Job Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognized university in petroleum or chemical engineering with minimum GPA 7.0 and above
• Minimum of one year’s experience in the upstream oil and gas production industry
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate critical operating parameters through data and trend analysis
• Experience in performance monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimization of well performance and reservoir management
• Experience in reservoir surveillance, analysis, and report writing
• Knowledge of basic reservoir engineering concepts including:
• Key reservoir / fluid characterization properties such as porosity, permeability, saturation, wettability, capillary pressure, and PVT
• Basic well design and completion / stimulation technologies
• Depletion planning and resource migration for primary, secondary and enhanced recovery mechanisms
• Well testing and production allocation principles
• Analytical performance prediction including decline curve analysis and material balance calculations
• Pressure transient analysis
• Experience in Visual Basic and other programming languages will be an advantage
• Experience working in Tableau is preferred
• Experience with Engineering Applications such as Eclipse, Saphir and Ecrin will be an advantage
• Able to work shift hours
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
