We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Residential Air Conditioning systems Mechanic to join our team. Responsibilities
Install, troubleshoot, and repair air conditioning units and HVAC systems in commercial and residential settings
Perform routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably
Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and blueprints for system installation and repairs
Conduct inspections to identify issues related to plumbing, appliances, or mechanical components within HVAC systems
Utilize welding, plumbing, and construction skills for system modifications or repairs as needed
Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and parts used
Collaborate with clients to assess their needs and recommend appropriate solutions
Ensure compliance with safety standards and building codes during all installation and maintenance activities
Experience
Proven experience working with HVAC systems, including installation, repair, and maintenance
Mechanical knowledge related to boilers, plumbing, welding, appliance repair, and general construction
Familiarity with schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams relevant to HVAC systems
Prior mechanic experience or background in maintenance roles is highly desirable
Knowledge of safety protocols related to electrical work, welding, plumbing, and mechanical repairs
Ability to diagnose issues accurately using diagnostic tools and technical manuals
