Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Residential Property Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential properties. We are a family-owned, mid-size business, with plans to grow. The ideal candidate will possess strong sales and customer service skills, along with a solid understanding of residential property management practices. This role requires effective communication, negotiation abilities, and attention to detail to maintain positive relationships with our residents, vendors, and stakeholders while ensuring the properties are well-managed and maintained.
Responsibilities
Manage all aspects of residential properties, including residen trelations, leasing, maintenance, and financial reporting.
Conduct property showings and negotiate lease agreements to maximize occupancy rates.
Utilize our property management software for tracking leases, resident information, and maintenance requests.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with residents through exceptional customer service and timely communication.
Oversee maintenance requests to ensure timely resolution of issues.
Assist with the preparation and management of budgets and monitor expenses.
Ensure compliance with applicable legislation, including Residential Tenancies Act.
Ensure health and safety legislation and regulation is followed without exception.
Coordinate with vendors for repairs, maintenance, and improvements while ensuring quality service delivery.
Maintain accurate files and documentation related to property operations, residential rental agreements, and financial transactions.
Conduct regular inspections of properties to ensure they meet safety standards and are well-maintained.
Qualifications
Proven experience in property management or a related field is preferred.
Strong sales skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
Excellent customer relationship management skills to foster resident satisfaction.
Proficient in administrative tasks including filing, documentation, and office management.
Familiarity with a property management software is a plus to manage resident and building services.
Exceptional organizational skills with attention to detail in managing multiple properties simultaneously.
Strong communication skills both verbal and written.

Pay: $55,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
