Job Description

The role

Working with a team of highly skilled and dedicated practitioners, the Resource Analyst will facilitate effective resource management through the analysis of workforce demands from programs, forward planning, strategic workforce planning and workforce/resource reporting.

Further, the successful candidate will:

Develop and manage the resource database to effectively manage resource capability and capacity
Analyse current, planned and future resource levels of tasking statements and provide forward guidance to stakeholders to support recruitment and capability management
Establish and maintain SQEP data attributes within the database to ensure supplied resources meet resource forecast demands
Generate reports and dashboards to articulate forecast resource requirements based on project timelines, team capacity and organisational goals
Develop and implement strategies to optimise resource allocation
Provide support to working groups through reporting and data analysis functions
Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, document, and prioritise business requirements to ensure alignment with project objectives
Analyse current business processes and propose solutions to streamline workflows and enhance overall efficiency
Create detailed business requirements documents, functional specifications, and process flow diagrams to facilitate clear communication with development teams and other stakeholders.
Flexible work arrangements such as hybrid work from home / office and a 9-day fortnight will be considered for this role.

About you

Your skills and experience will include:

A tertiary qualification in business administration, computer science, or a related field (desirable)
Extensive business analysis within a complex engineering and project execution organisation
Working with data analysis software, such as Saviom or Tableau (desirable)
Working within collaborative frameworks (desirable)
Analysis with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable conclusions
Requirements gathering, documentation, and process analysis
Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
Knowledge of data analysis tools and techniques (desirable)
Demonstrated experience working in and leading in a complex stakeholder environment.
