Job Description
Responsibilities
1. Child Intake & Documentation
Obtain comprehensive case history, assess immediate care needs, counselling and coordinate all required documentation for child admission.
Maintain and update individual child files; log case records accurately in CARINGS.
2. Full-Cycle Adoption Management
Manage the end-to-end adoption process: matching, legal coordination, and placement support.
Conduct Home Studies, counsel prospective parents, and undertake post-adoption follow-up visits, etc as per CARA guidelines.
3. Regulatory Collaboration & Compliance
Liaise proactively with Child Welfare Committees, District Child Protection Units, CARA, and other regulatory bodies to ensure process alignment, updates, and compliance.
4. Community Outreach & Program Development
Conduct community surveys to identify needs and inform outcome-based program design.
Compile and deliver project reports, ensuring monitoring and evaluation metrics are met for new programs.
5. Donor Relations & Fundraising
Rationalize and maintain donor data, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting.
Plan and execute fundraising activities (e.g., drives, events, online campaigns).
6. Communications & Social Media
Conceptualize and operationalize social media campaigns to promote programs, fundraising initiatives, and awareness-building efforts.
7. Administrative & Other Duties
Handle any other responsibilities assigned by Children of the World (CWD) management/leadership.
