EducationJob Responsibilities of Rubber Compounder:Bachelor Degree in Rubber Technology from Reputed Institute . Master Degree in Polymer science .ExperienceMinimum 15 Years experience as a Rubber compounder and Head of Rubber Mixing facility in a good Rubber Or Rubber to Metal Bonded company. Having Good Knowledge of Use of Compounded Rubber in Injection , Transfer & Compression Molding . Knowledge of Adhesion Coating & its effect on Rubber formulation .Have practical knowledge in Developing Compound related to NR, NBR, ACM, EPDM , Silicon , Blend of polymers , Blend of Reinforcing agents to get desired finish goods properties.Additional SkillKnowledge of ERPKnowledge of APQPKnowledge of Vendor Base for various Rubber and Rubber processing Chemicals.In depth Knowledge OHSAS, REACH & California 65 regulations.Design concept of Rubber mixing related machinesGood Communication Skill.Good administrative skill.ResponsibilitiesDeveloping New compound as per need Re tunning existing compound as per Product requirements and field/ testing observations.Developing and cost reduction of existing compound with various VA/ VE . Making compounding sequences / process standards to get best result and effective utilization of various resources.Investigation of various process related issues making CAPA and implementing it horizontally.Identifying and Reporting various KPI related to Compounding & Rubber mixing.Analyzing all test results of compound and Chemicals and improving thoseSpearheading Cost Reduction of Mixing and compound formulationDesigning various test related to assurance of compound for further process and following and analyzing the same.ReportingAdministrative Reporting Manufacturing HeadTechnical Reporting : CTO
