Responsibilities
Assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and high-quality service
Supervise and motivate staff members, including interviewing and training new team members
Ensure adherence to food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
Oversee food preparation and cooking processes to maintain consistency and quality
Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using Micros POS or similar systems
Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest concerns promptly and professionally
Coordinate with kitchen staff on food presentation, serving standards, and cleanliness
Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and support team development in hospitality and food industry best practices
Assist in inventory management, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of the restaurant environment
Support the implementation of restaurant policies, health regulations, and safety protocols
Requirements
Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within the food service or hospitality industry
Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety regulations
Experience with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms for cash handling and order processing
Excellent leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
Exceptional customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
Background in food handling, kitchen operations, or restaurant experience preferred
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Previous experience with interviewing and training staff is a plus
Knowledge of the food industry trends including barista experience or hotel experience is advantageous
Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor
