Kome Sake Bar is a renowned Japanese restaurant situated in Auckland's premier dining destination, Commercial Bay. Known for our authentic cuisine with a modern twist, we take pride in our 4,500+ Google reviews and reputation for excellence in food, service, and ambience. As we continue to grow, we are now looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team with passion and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan menus in collaboration with our Head Chefs
Organise and coordinate daily service and special functions
Manage purchasing and supplier relations while maintaining budgets
Oversee inventory, stock levels, and financial transactions
Ensure the restaurant complies with all health and safety regulations
Drive high standards of cleanliness, functionality, and aesthetics
Monitor customer satisfaction and handle feedback professionally
Recruit, train, and supervise front-of-house and kitchen staff
Support day-to-day operations, including reservations and guest service
What You Bring:
NZ Diploma in Hospitality Management or related field or at least 3+ years relevant experience
Proven leadership in a hospitality management role
Strong knowledge of Japanese cuisine and restaurant operations (preferred)
Excellent communication and people management skills
Passion for creating memorable guest experiences
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multicultural environment
Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
