Job Description
Manage a portfolio of Watchlist relationships, engaging directly with borrowers to assess their financial position and explore recovery strategies.
Conduct detailed credit risk analysis, evaluating loan structures, security, and borrower capabilities.
Develop and present strategic recommendations to senior management and internal stakeholders.
Take ownership of strategy execution, ensuring regular monitoring, reporting, and timely updates to leadership.
Lead discussions with borrowers, attending meetings and site visits to gather critical insights and drive negotiations.
Collaborate with internal divisions to ensure seamless handovers and alignment on risk management strategies.
Work closely with external professionals such as valuers, solicitors, and insolvency practitioners to support informed decision-making.
What You Bring:
Proven experience in credit risk or lending roles, ideally within Real Estate Finance or Commercial Banking.
A track record of managing non-performing loans, engaging with borrowers, and leading difficult conversations to drive positive outcomes.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to assess financial risk, structure proposals, and prepare high-quality credit reports.
Excellent communication skills, with the confidence to engage with senior management and external stakeholders.
