We're looking for a mature, reliable Retail Sales Assistant for our Johnsonville Mall store on Sundays, and for on-call shifts in our other stores when required.
Honour is a consignment boutique specialising in preloved and reloved fashion. Where customers can discover and give new life to vintage and secondhand designer clothing, shoes, and accessories. The joy lies in the thrill of discovering what's new in store each week!
Launched in 2014 by fashion-lover Sue Allen, the idea behind Honour is a simple one: honour yourself, honour your wardrobe, and honour the planet. We give Kiwi women of all tastes and sizes the opportunity to look and feel their best in beautiful vintage and designer clothing that will last.
We pride ourselves in making every purchase and consignment sale special. We prioritise quality and timeless design over fleeting fashion trends, while championing the movement away from fast fashion, to prevent garments from ending up in landfills.
Responsibilities
Greet customers with a smile
Assist customers to find what they're looking for, and answer any questions they might have
Process sales transactions
Manage incoming consignment stock
Replenish and display new stock
Keep the store clean and tidy and looking beautiful
Photograph stock for our online store
From time to time, upload and list items to our online store
Skills and experience
A love of beautiful clothes, shoes and accessories
Previous retail experience a must
A positive "can do" attitude
Mature and reliable
An interest in preloved or sustainable fashion (a plus)
