Responsibilities
The Cosmetic Stock Colleague is responsible for all functions related to the flow of new merchandise for the brand
You will handle various operational tasks, including processing shipments, replenishing stock, and participating in inventory management
Your efforts will contribute to a welcoming and efficient shopping environment
Greet & connect with customers in a friendly and genuine way
Let them know we appreciate them and care about their experience
Master store products, services, loyalty programs, and Macy’s sales systems and use knowledge to help customers find what they need and suggest additional items
Process shipments efficiently and prepare items for the sales floor
Assist the leadership team in the movement of case line assortment for new product and season changes
Replenish stock onto the sales floor
Maintain high customer readiness standards by delivering a clean, neat, easy to shop store environment
Participate in inventory process, stockroom maintenance, organization, and housekeeping
Process damages, transfers, and return to vendor merchandise
Follow shortage programs and procedures as they pertain to the receiving function
Adhere to Asset Protection and inventory control and compliance procedures
