Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Retail Manager to join our team at BIRD CAGE HANDCRAFT PTY LTD. As our Retail Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our retail store in Sydney, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive salary and the opportunity to work for a dynamic and growing company in the Retail & Consumer Products industry.
What you'll be doing
Manage and lead a team of sales associates, ensuring excellent customer service and sales performance
Oversee inventory management, stock control, and visual merchandising to maximise sales and profitability
Develop and implement sales and marketing strategies to drive store growth and customer engagement
Manage the store's budget, financial reporting, and key performance indicators
Ensure the store's compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and legal requirements
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and the customer experience
Collaborate with the broader team to support the overall success of the business
What we're looking for
Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a retail management role, preferably in the Retail & Consumer Products industry
Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving skills
Proficient in inventory management, financial reporting, and data analysis
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
Adaptable and resourceful, with a proven track record of driving continuous improvement
Relevant tertiary qualifications in Retail, Business Management, or a related field would be highly regarded
