Full job description
The Retail Operations Specialist will support Michael Hill’s Retail Operations Team by reviewing data, making recommendations, and facilitating the delivery of key business improvements.
Reporting to the Retail Operations Manager and be based in our Global Support Centre in Cannon Hill, the Retail Operations Specialist will play an integral role in improving the experience of our in-store teams by improving business function through data analysis, as well as provide prompt and efficient responses to enquiries. The successful candidate will have a real passion for Michael Hill operations, an in-depth knowledge in our systems and ideally have in store experience.
Your Primary responsibilities will be to:
Respond to and resolve/escalate queries via phone or email
Provide excellent customer experiences when handling enquiries while demonstrating our value of care
Demonstrate analysis of business issues to identify root causes and solutions
Present and communicate insights in relevant ways to internal and external stakeholders
Assist the broader team with general administrative duties as well as operational projects
The successful applicant will have:
An understanding of the daily operations of Michael Hill retail stores
Strong communication skills, positive can do attitude
Experience working with RHQ & Microsoft Dynamics 365
Excellent attention to detail and desire to follow through with processes
Ability to manage multiple tasks and problem solve
Open communication and adaptability to change
The ability to establish effective team working relationships and maintain professional external relationships
