T9-Specialist is seeking an ambitious Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in Manchester. We specialise in organising promotional events and sales campaigns for non-profit clients, and this role will allow you to use your customer service skills to drive sales and support a good cause.
As a Retail Sales Assistant, you’ll be representing non-profit clients at our promotional events, engaging directly with the public and helping to drive donations and support.
Responsibilities
• Engage with customers at promotional events, providing detailed information about non-profit organisations and encouraging support
• Contribute to meeting sales targets by driving donations and building long-term relationships with customers
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of event spaces, ensuring all promotional materials are in place
• Provide exceptional customer service by answering questions and addressing concerns in a professional and friendly manner
• Track customer interactions and sales data, reporting results to the sales team
• Participate in ongoing training to improve your sales skills and campaign performance
Requirements
• Must be eligible to work in the UK (no sponsorship or Tier 4/PSW visas)
• Previous applicants from the last 30 days will not be considered
• No prior sales experience required; retail or customer service experience is beneficial
• Strong communication skills and a friendly, outgoing personality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet sales targets
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
