Job Description:
We are seeking a driven Sales expert who is passionate about helping customers turn their homes and spaces into something special. This full time role is based primarily in Nunawading and would be supporting our South Morang store a couple of days a week.
What you will be doing:
Customer Service: Provide personalised assistance to customers by understanding their needs and recommending suitable products from our extensive range of rugs, carpets, flooring, and windows furnishings.
Product Knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of our product offerings to answer customer inquiries, provide expert advice, and highlight the features and benefits of each item.
Sales: Achieve sales targets by actively engaging with customers, upselling complementary products, and following up on leads.
Visual Merchandising: Ensure that the showroom is well-organised and visually appealing, with displays that showcase our products effectively.
Customer Follow-Up: Handle customer inquiries, process orders, and follow up to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
What you will bring:
Previous experience in a retail sales role, preferably with a focus on rugs, carpets, window furnishings or flooring.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and approachable demeanour.
Passion for interior design with a good eye for detail.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in basic computer skills and sales software.
A proactive attitude and willingness to learn about new products and industry trends.
