Job Overview
We are seeking energetic and customer-focused Retail Sales Associates to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers, demonstrating products, and creating an inviting shopping experience. Your enthusiasm and sales skills will drive store success while helping customers find the perfect athletic gear.
Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and assist them in finding products that meet their needs
Conduct product demonstrations and explain features to enhance customer understanding
Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing
Upsell additional products or accessories to maximize sales opportunities
Maintain organized merchandising displays and ensure shelves are stocked with current inventory
Assist with inventory management through stocking, merchandising, and inventory counts
Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering product recommendations, and ensuring a positive shopping experience
Experience
Previous retail sales experience preferred, especially in grocery stores or similar fast-paced environments
Supervising experience is a plus for leadership opportunities within the team
Strong communication skills, including phone etiquette and bilingual abilities, are highly valued
Familiarity with POS systems, cash handling, and retail math concepts such as basic addition/subtraction is beneficial
Ability to perform retail tasks such as merchandising, stocking, and conducting product demos confidently
Experience in upselling techniques to enhance sales performance
