Job Description
A Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and maximizing sales opportunities by assisting customers in selecting and purchasing products or services. They must possess a good understanding of the products or services offered by the company and be able to effectively communicate their features and benefits to customers.
• Key Responsibilities:
• Customer Assistance: Greet customers as they enter the store or approach the sales area, and provide a welcoming and informative experience. Listen to customer inquiries and assist them in finding the right products or services to meet their needs.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of the products or services being offered, including their features, benefits, pricing, and promotions. Stay up-to-date with product knowledge through training and resources provided by the company.
• Sales and Upselling: Actively promote and upsell products or services to customers by highlighting their advantages and cross-selling related items. Meet or exceed sales targets and goals set by the company.
• Point of Sale (POS) Operations: Accurately process transactions, including cash, credit card, or digital payments, using the POS system. Handle returns and exchanges following company policies.
• Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining product displays and ensure that shelves are adequately stocked and organized. Notify management of low stock levels or damaged products.
• Customer Relations: Build and maintain positive customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing questions and concerns, and resolving any issues that may arise.
• Visual Merchandising: Assist in setting up visual displays and arranging products to enhance the store's appeal and improve the customer shopping experience.
• Loss Prevention: Help prevent theft and losses by keeping an eye on customers and merchandise, ensuring security protocols are followed, and reporting any suspicious activities to store management or security personnel.
• Cleaning and Maintenance: Contribute to the overall cleanliness and tidiness of the sales area, including the cleaning of displays, shelves, and checkout counters.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other sales associates, team members, and management to achieve common goals and maintain a positive work environment.

Salary: Up to ₹26,000.00 per month
