Job Description: Retail Sales Consultant
Purpose:
As the face of Floor & Decor, Sales Associates play a vital role in establishing and maintaining the company's reputation for excellent customer service.
The organization is currently seeking candidates for full-time as well as part-time positions.

Essential Job Functions:
• Engage with patrons, question them about their undertakings, recommend articles, and motivate eagerness for purchases.
• Provide a customer service experience that surpasses all expectations.
• The obligation of maintaining the designated sections’ inventory levels, tidiness, and safety is crucial to ensure optimal customer satisfaction.
• Join forces with management and coworkers to secure sales objectives.
• Use the POS system to process payments from customers.
• Abide by the policies and procedures established for managing customer refunds and exchanges.
• Observe the established methods for receiving payments by cash, checks, or credit cards.
• Prepare price tags and sales signage, maintain product stock, label and exhibit goods.
• Comply with the foundational ideals that govern the company's behavior.
• Convey and establish compliance with organizational safety guidelines.
• Manage incoming calls based on the company's telephone guidelines.
• Be of service in other store departments as the need arises.
• Succeed in a swift environment while ensuring accuracy.
Minimum Eligibility Requirements:
• Only persons who have exceeded 18 years of age are permitted.
• The ability to accurately perform basic mathematical operations is a necessary skill in everyday life.
• Past involvement in addressing customer needs.
• Having the ability to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously and thrive in high-pressure environments.
• Certain job positions may mandate forklift certification from F&D as a prerequisite.
• Legally, heavy equipment certification can only be awarded after applicants pass a mandatory drug test in certain states.
Physical/Sensory Requirements:
• Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling or moving objects requires the force of 30 to 60 pounds occasionally or 20 to 30 pounds frequently.
• The use of hands and fingers to feel or manipulate objects is common.
• Activities that require constant movement including standing, walking, reaching, balancing, and climbing.
