Fragrance counter manager General Summary: The Fragrance Counter Manager is responsible for supervising the complete operations of the fragrance line to ensure a high level of productivity and customer satisfaction through extensive product knowledge and outstanding customer service. Principle Duties and Responsibilities: - Acknowledge customers in a friendly and helpful manner within 30 seconds of their entry into the area - Recruit, train, coach, motivate, and develop new and incumbent associates on company policies and procedures, product knowledge, and personal and department productivity goals - Review and analyse business performance of daily, weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual sales results - Handle stock, petty expenses and sales cash at the store with complete responsibility - Communicate company goal specifics and expectations - Monitor associate productivity levels and provide coaching and feedback - Ensure timely processing of new receipts, damages, testers, or Fragrance Oil wastages and return to vendors (RTVs) - Develop and implement business driving calendar / events to achieve department goals - Supervise proper presentation, organization, storing, and replenishment of stock - Sell merchandise through effective customer service techniques and professional selling skills to reach personal productivity goals - Alert company of needs and concerns of the business and staff - Communicate regularly with relevant department heads, vendors, regarding stock needs, customer preferences, and special events - Participate in physical inventory process - Maintain good housekeeping standards with clean display counter - Ensure work area is free from hazards and work in a safe manner - Be in compliance with all hygiene standards - Perform other duties as needed Job Specifications: Education/Experience: Graduate or equivalent. A minimum of one year of previous selling experience is required, preferably in fragrances / luxury vertical. Previous supervisory is also preferred.Language Skills: Ability to read, write, and interpret general business periodicals. Ability to effectively communicate with and present information to customers, vendors, buyers, peers, and all levels of management.Mathematical Skills: Basic math functions such as addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Able touse a calculator/computer/billing software. Must be able to calculate percentages and ratios.Reasoning Ability: Must be able to anticipate and solve problems.Physical Demands: This position requires constant moving, talking, hearing, reaching, and standing.Other skills: A self-driven individual focused on sales, Superior organizational and time management skills.
