Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented AutoCAD & Visual Merchandising Designer to support our store fit-out projects across India. The ideal candidate should have expertise in AutoCAD, Sketch Up, Coral Draw, and vendor coordination. The role involves creating detailed drawings, visual artwork adaptations, and assisting in VM display execution.
Key Responsibilities 1. AutoCAD Drawing & Layout Generation Develop AutoCAD drawings for new PAN India store fit-outs, including:
Civil & MEP layout generation Fixture floor plan creation Wall elevation views Lighting layout planning Conduct electrical load calculations and generate circuit drawings. Ensure accurate electrical load distribution and circuit drawings for malls and airport projects as per guidelines. 2. 3D Modelling & Visualization (Sketch Up) Create 3D models in Sketch Up for mall and airport store approvals. Provide realistic 3D visualization for better decision-making and execution.
3. Visual Artwork Adaptation (Coral Draw) Develop and adapt visual artworks for retail stores and fit-outs. Ensure alignment with brand guidelines and store aesthetics. 4. VM Display & Vendor Coordination Coordinate with vendors for the procurement and installation of VM elements. Follow up on purchase orders (PO) and ensure timely execution. Manage bill submissions and payment follow-ups for VM-related work.
5. Manufacturing Drawings for Fixtures Create detailed manufacturing drawings for fixture production. Ensure accuracy and feasibility in design for execution. Required
Skills & Qualifications Proficiency in AutoCAD , Sketch Up , Coral Draw , and MS Office . Strong understanding of retail store layouts, fixture detailing, and electrical planning. Experience in vendor coordination and purchase order tracking. Ability to create 3D models and visual representations for approvals. Attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and ability to meet deadlines. Software Proficiency AutoCAD – For 2D layouts and technical drawings Sketch Up – For 3D modelling and visualization Coral Draw – For visual artwork adaptations MS Office – For documentation and coordination tasks
Experience:
2-5 years in retail design, visual merchandising, or interior fit-outs.
Experience with mall and airport store designs is a plus.
