Job Overview: We are seeking dedicated and customer-oriented individuals to join our retail team as
Store Staff. As a Store Staff member, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer
service, ensuring the store is well-maintained, and contributing to the overall success of our
business.
Roles and Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assist with their
inquiries, and provide knowledgeable product information. Ensure that customers have a
positive shopping experience by offering prompt and efficient service.
Sales and Merchandising: Assist customers in finding products, offer recommendations, and
upsell additional items. Maintain a clean and organized store layout, including properly
arranging and displaying merchandise. Restock shelves and ensure adequate inventory.
Cash Handling: Process customer transactions accurately, including cash, credit/debit card
payments, and digital transactions. Maintain cash registers and reconcile cash drawers at the
end of each shift, following all cash handling procedures.
Store Operations: Perform opening and closing procedures, including ensuring the store is
clean, tidy, and well-stocked. Monitor and report any maintenance or safety issues. Follow
company procedures regarding store operations and security. Process returns and exchanges.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with fellow store staff to achieve store goals and
targets. Communicate with team members and managers, sharing information, insights, and
feedback. Support and assist colleagues as needed.
Product Knowledge: Stay updated on product features, pricing, and promotions to provide
accurate information to customers. Educate yourself about new products and trends.
Compliance: Adhere to all legal and ethical standards, including following health and safety
regulations. Ensure compliance with company policies.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Required Skills / Abilities: Extensive knowledge of the merchandise sold.
Customer Service Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to
engage and assist customers effectively. Ability to anticipate customers needs.
Team Player: Ability to work well as part of a team, supporting and collaborating with
colleagues. Flexibility to work in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills with a keen eye for detail to ensure accurate
cash handling, proper product placement, and a clean store environment. Ability to operate
or to quickly learn the stores point-of-sale system.
Availability: Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and
holidays, as per the stores
