Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated Retail Supervisor to join our dynamic retail team. As a Retail Supervisor, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales associates and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in store management, retail management, and possess strong leadership skills.
Responsibilities: -
Manage store operations and ensure that all areas are clean, organized, and well-stocked. - Oversee sales associates and provide guidance on sales techniques, customer service, and product knowledge.
Conduct employee orientations and training sessions to ensure that all team members are knowledgeable about the store's policies and procedures. - Assist in managing inventory, including receiving and processing shipments, and maintaining accurate stock levels.
Analyze sales data and make informed decisions to optimize pricing and promotions. - Utilize POS systems to process transactions and maintain accurate records. - Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly and professionally. - Maintain a high level of phone etiquette and handle customer calls in a timely and courteous manner.
Participate in the buying process and make recommendations to the store manager. - Support the store manager in implementing retail management strategies to drive sales growth and profitability.
Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers and colleagues. - Perform other duties as assigned by the store manager.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail management, preferably in a leadership role. - Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to manage and motivate a team. - Proficiency in POS systems and inventory management. - Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities. - High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field is an asset. - Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Strong phone etiquette skills. - Familiarity with retail management software and technology. - Ability to buy and manage inventory effectively.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
