Responsibilities
deliver the Rethink Waste Strategy
promote waste management behaviour change in the community
produce materials for internal and external stakeholders
work closely with regional waste bodies, State Government, councils and others
engage and manage contractors and employees
report to the Steering Group, and other stakeholders
develop project documentation and manage project risks
other project-related duties as directed.

About us
Rethink Waste is an education brand developed through a partnership between Tasmania’s three regional waste bodies. The brand is well-known and respected in Tasmania. It has a proud track record of supporting behaviour change around resource recovery, waste reduction and the circular economy.
The successful candidate will be employed by TasWaste South – one of the three regional waste bodies – and report to the TasWaste South CEO. TasWaste South was established by the 12 Southern Tasmanian Councils. It coordinates local government resource recovery and management of solid waste in the southern region.
