Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Pricing Analysis:
Analyze historical and current booking trends, competitive pricing, and market conditions to support pricing and inventory decisions.
Monitor demand patterns, forecast accuracy, and key performance indicators (KPIs) such as occupancy, ADR (Average Daily Rate), and RevPAR (Revenue per Available Room).
Provide recommendations on pricing strategies, room availability, and overbooking levels to maximize revenue.
Assist in setting rate strategies across various distribution channels (direct bookings, OTAs, GDS, wholesale, etc.).
Forecasting & Reporting:
Assist Area Director of Revenue Manage in preparing daily, weekly, and monthly revenue performance reports.
Support the development of short-term and long-term demand forecasts.
Provide data-driven insights to optimize revenue strategy and improve forecast accuracy.
Competitive & Market Analysis:
Monitor competitor rates, market demand, and industry trends to identify revenue opportunities.
Track the impact of promotions, discounts, and special offers on revenue performance.
Conduct STR report analysis to assess market positioning and competitive advantage.
Systems & Technology:
Work with revenue management systems (RMS), property management systems (PMS), and business intelligence tools.
Ensure accurate configuration of rate plans, restrictions, and inventory controls.
Support testing and implementation of system enhancements.
Collaboration & Communication:
Work closely with sales, marketing, and operations teams to align revenue strategies with business goals.
Participate in weekly revenue meetings, presenting data-driven insights and recommendations.
Assist in developing pricing strategies for group and transient business.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Hospitality Management, Economics, Finance, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in revenue management, hotel operations, or a related analytical role.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in Excel, data visualization tools, and revenue management software (e.g., Duetto, IDeaS, STR, TravelClick).
Knowledge of hotel distribution channels and pricing strategies is a plus.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
