Job description
We are looking for a hands‑on Revenue Operations Manager to own and scale our end‑to‑end media revenue engine. This role sits at the intersection of ad monetization, yield optimization, publisher management, ad tech operations, and finance execution.
You will be responsible for maximizing revenue, ensuring clean execution from impression to cash, and building scalable RevOps processes as we grow.
This is not a reporting‑only role—you will be in the trenches managing ad servers, optimizing yield, reconciling numbers, and working closely with publishers, sales, finance, product, and engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Revenue & Yield Optimization
• Own daily, weekly, and monthly media revenue performance
• Optimize yield across ad formats, demand sources, and geographies
• Monitor fill rates, CPMs, latency, discrepancies, and revenue leakage
• Partner with product and engineering to improve monetization performance
• Identify and execute revenue uplift opportunities through data and experimentation
Ad Operations & Ad Tech
• Own ad server setup and operations (Google Ad Manager or equivalent)
• Manage demand partners, line items, campaigns, and inventory forecasting
• Ensure accurate tracking, reporting, and reconciliation of ad delivery
• Troubleshoot discrepancies across ad server, SSPs, and internal systems
• Maintain clean taxonomy, naming conventions, and operational hygiene
Publisher & Partner Management
• Act as the primary operational point of contact for publishers
• Own publisher onboarding, setup, and ongoing performance management
• Share reporting, insights, and optimization recommendations with partners
• Proactively resolve billing, discrepancy, and payment‑related issues
Invoicing, Billing & Collections
• Own the end‑to‑end billing cycle: revenue validation → invoicing → collections
• Coordinate with finance to ensure timely and accurate invoices
• Track receivables, follow up on collections, and reduce outstanding balances
• Ensure contracts, rate cards, and revenue terms are executed correctly
• Improve cash flow by tightening billing and operational processes
Reporting & Analytics
• Build and maintain revenue dashboards and operational KPIs
• Deliver accurate close numbers for monthly and quarterly reporting
• Analyze revenue trends, risks, and growth opportunities
• Support leadership with data‑driven decisions on pricing, inventory, and partnerships
Process & Scale
• Design scalable RevOps processes as the company grows
• Automate manual workflows wherever possible
• Establish SOPs for ad ops, billing, reconciliation, and reporting
• Be a key contributor to building a best‑in‑class RevOps function from scratch
Qualifications & Experience
• 4–7+ years of experience in Revenue Operations, Ad Operations, or Media Monetization
• Strong hands‑on experience with digital media revenue models
• Deep understanding of yield optimization, CPM drivers, and ad performance metrics
• Experience with ad servers (Google Ad Manager preferred) and major SSPs
• Strong grasp of invoicing, reconciliation, and collections in media businesses
• Highly analytical with strong Excel / Google Sheets skills
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced startup environment with ambiguity
• Ability to own problems end‑to‑end with minimal supervision
