We are seeking a Revit MEP Technician based in Banbridge to be part of our growing team.
The successful candidate will be a key member of a multidisciplinary and versatile design team, contributing to the delivery of high-quality Building Information Models using Autodesk Revit and AR/VR technologies to support mechanical and electrical design across a diverse portfolio of high-end residential, education, and commercial projects.
| KEY RESPONSIBILITIES |
Coordinate and Produce HVAC, public health and electrical systems within Revit using design team schematic to meet deadlines.
Assist with information management across a number of construction projects.
Provide help with team training and assist in the development of trainees/juniors.
Utilise AR/VR and pointcloud scans for Design Coordination and to resolve issues from Clash Detections.
Understand and work to Kane Group procedures and standards including all BIM documentation.
Attend internal design meetings.
Take responsibility for own work.
| QUALFICIATION |
Essential
5 GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Maths and English.
Desirable
Qualification in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, BIM, Construction Technology or similar.
| EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE |
Essential
3+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Proficient in use of REVIT MEP to create coordinated HVAC systems
Strong knowledge of BIM methodologies and UK BIM standards
Desirable
Experience in the use of Dynamo & Navisworks
Experience in the use of BIM360
Experience with coordination of underground services
| ABILITIES & SKILLS |
Able to demonstrate strong skills in the use of Revit including Revit family creation skills with a focus in parametric design
Strong AutoCAD skills
Strong communication and team skills
Excellent organisational skills and the ability to prioritise own workload.
Capacity to work independently with limited supervision
Can deliver high quality work with excellent attention to detail
To be flexible and work as part of a team
Familiarity with Microsoft Office package
